Best Colors for Halloween Coloring Pages
Orange and black are the classic Halloween colors, but purple and green work just as well. They look great on witch hats, potion bottles and the cauldron.
For night scenes, try coloring the sky dark blue instead of black. The moon will stand out, and black bats will still be easy to see. Ghosts look nice left white with a light blue edge. To make a jack-o-lantern glow, color its eyes and mouth yellow.
Halloween Costume Coloring Pages
Several pages show kids dressed up for Halloween. There is a pumpkin costume, a bat costume, a skeleton suit, and a ghost and a witch on the trick or treat street. There is even a puppy dressed as a pumpkin. If your child has not picked a costume yet, these are a fun way to try out a few ideas first.
Print a few extra pumpkins, because someone always wants a second one.

Frequently asked questions
Are these pages too scary for young kids?
No. All the ghosts, bats and monsters are smiling, and none of them show sharp teeth. The haunted house and the graveyard are the spookiest ones. For a very young child, start with the ghost saying BOO or the candy corn friends.
Which pages are best for toddlers?
The page with four big boxes is made just for them. It has a pumpkin, a ghost, a bat and a witch hat. The big jack-o-lantern and the ghost saying BOO are also nice and simple.
Do you have Halloween coloring pages for adults?
Yes. The Halloween mandala has shapes that repeat in circles around a pumpkin face. The pattern page and the haunted house also have lots of small parts and take longer to finish. Colored pencils work best on these.
What is candy corn?
Candy corn is a small, soft Halloween candy shaped like a corn kernel. It has three stripes, white at the tip, orange in the middle and yellow at the bottom. You can color it on the candy corn friends page and the candy bucket page.
